The situation is not clear enough
It’s hard or even impossible to see the situation clearly. When we meet someone new, we see their best features. The same happens with both men and women. We tend to play and act and this is absolutely natural and normal. We want to show how good, polite and nice we are. The way we present ourselves may be misleading. Reality shows who and what we are. We start living together with our partners and then we realize that the person we are in love with is different. How we talk and behave depends on the situation, of course. But we can hardly ever hide our true nature. Unfortunately, if your partner is an abuser deep inside, you will notice and find out about that later on.
The victim has nurturing qualities
You’ll easily become an abuser’s victim if you have nurturing qualities. You do want to protect and guard those you love. And your partner is one of the people whom you take care of. You are vulnerable if you are trying to rescue your abuser. Be careful and do not become his prey.
