3. Pace
The pace of your speech is essential. Pay attention to the tempo of your presentation. Make sure you are not too slow or too fast. Pick the right speed. A speech that is made at a fast pace raises excitement while a speech made at a slow pace makes the audience sleepy and bored. It is surprising, but silence and short breaks are great too. Whenever you want the audience to think about what you have just said, use a pause and let the people catch up.
4. Eye Contact
Engagement with the audience can be established through eye contact. This makes people focus on what you say and does not allow them to ignore you. Maintain the eye contact once it was established. Move from one section of your audience to another and form eye contact with each of the groups. This tip is helpful in making people hear what you are saying. People remain attentive throughout your entire presentation.
