Their actions and words differ
A gaslighter says one thing, but he does another thing. Your gaslighter’s mission is to confuse you and the less you understand what’s going on, the happier the gaslighter is. As a victim, you will not be able to tell lies from reality and you will never be able to predict the manipulator’s further steps. His actions differ from his words. Combined with denial and lies, the gaslighter can make you feel insane and absolutely stupid. You know you are an intelligent person and that this sort of stuff has never occurred in your life before. Do all possible to prevent the gaslighter from being around you.
