Your wonderful nonstick pan will be ruined once placed in the dishwasher. Dishwashers are rather harsh machines and they can damage the coating of the pan. After washing a nonstick pan in the dishwasher you will never be able to prepare tasty pancakes and eggs using the utensil. Never put your pans in the dishwasher or buy a nonstick pan that can be safely washed in the machine.
