3. Staph infections
The staphylococcus bacteria cause various infections. You might already be aware of this fact. It is transferred to people through pets. The bacteria also cause MRSA, which is resistant to antibiotics.
4. Fecal matter
It’s very usual that dogs play, step in or even eat (disgusting!) poop. After walking your dog outside, you bring it back home. The problem is that your pet tracks the fecal matter along with it. If your dog sleeps with you in the same bed, it is very likely that it transmits E. coli, salmonella and parasites.
