Cost
Non-organic foods are not as expensive as organic products. It requires more labor to grow organic fruits and vegetables. They grow more slowly and producers have to pay huge money to obtain USDA Organic Certificate. Since licensing costs lots and you produce less organic food, all you can do is to increase the cost of what you bring to the market. There are not too many people who can afford to switch from non-organic to organic products.
Too Low in Iodine
Organic dairy is not as rich in iodine. Organic milk contains less selenium, too. Our bodies need both since they work as anti-oxidants and protect our body cells from cancer. They strengthen the immune system and carry out lots of other functions. Iodine deficiency might lead to serious health issues and bad thyroid.
