3. Pickles
Refrigerators is the most common place where pickles can be found. People think that that’s how this food should be stored. In fact, there is absolutely no need to put pickles in cool places. Manufacturers add plenty of preservatives in the food during the production process. A jar of pickles can be kept outside of the cooler for years and you will notice no changes in the way the food tastes. Additional refrigeration is not required since preservation does the job.
4. Cucumber
Cucumbers love room temperature and enjoy being kept on your kitchen table. Do not use your fridge to preserve the vegetable. You might have noticed that whenever you bring out the cucumber out of the cooler, there is damaged skin on the food. That’s what happens when cucumbers are surrounded by the cold. To prevent decaying, keep your cucumbers in a dry place.
