5. Copenhagen, Denmark
Copenhagen is stunning in many terms. Its bicycle friendliness surprises whoever comes to visit the city. The goal now is to help cyclists to take up 50% of traffic. No doubt they will achieve it very soon. Bicycle paths and bicycle sharing systems is not all the authorities can offer their citizens. The city is full of pedestrian bridges and bicycle zones. It is reported that the city will soon have superhighways for cyclists. The idea has gained great popularity and now there’re hundreds of people who have switched from private cars to bikes. Roads are not as crowded as they used to be. Hopefully, more cities will follow this example and make their area cleaner and less polluted.
