1. The World Islands

The Persian Gulf has been constantly changing – more and more artificial islands have been created in the recent few years. The World Islands belong to Dubai. Their shape resembles our planet. Each island has a name of a country. It was a magnificent project that required lots of money, material, people and time to be processed. 

2. The Ile aux Cygnes 

This small man-made island is found in France. The spot is the one of the reasons why the 15th and 16th administrative districts are now so well-known. The island was created in the late 1820’s. Its main purpose was to protect the port named Grenelle. Besides the three-lined walkway and three bridges, there are a few other sightseeing destinations like a copy of the Statue of Liberty located in New York.
