3. Arakan Forest Turtle
It’s sad to find out that the Arakan forest turtle has also been included in this list. In the early 1900’s it was believed that this cute animal was extinct. Luckily, after almost 90 years it was rediscovered. Western Burma is the only place where this species can live. Nowadays the number of this animal does not exceed 100.

4. Iberian Lynx
Portugal as well as Spain can be considered to be home to the Iberian lynx. This is the most endangered animal of the feline group. Less than 20 years ago the number of this species was around 100. Since then various organizations have been trying to save the animal. It seems that their conservation plan has been successful. Currently we have more than 400 Iberian lynx living in the nature.
