Practice Mindful Eating
People who get distracted during their meals eat more food and consume more calories than they do when there is nothing that would distract them from eating. Have your meals in a calm and relaxed environment. Do it on your own and do not seek company. Make mindful eating your habit. Pay attention to how you consume your food and enjoy every bite. Remember that mindless eating will inevitably lead to weight gain.
Hide Unhealthy Stuff
You are more likely to eat unhealthy snacks if you keep such products in sight. Hide your cookies and avoid buying candies and potato chips. Instead of chocolates buy dried fruits and nuts. Drink more water because we often take thirst for hunger. Fortunately, there are plenty of alternatives to choose from so you can always snack on good stuff.
