5. Biking to Work
Leave your car in the garage. Use your bike instead. The farther you live from your office, the more calories and fat you will burn while riding to work. If you ride your bike at a speed of around 6 mph, you’ll burn approximately 170 calories. Now multiply it by the hours and days you can ride to and from work and you will see that the amount of calories you can burn is quite impressive. Burning a pound a week is possible if you follow our advice.
6. Do Jumping Jacks during Commercial Breaks
A commercial break lasts at least three minutes. Make use of the time – do not waste it and practice some jumping jacks. Three minutes of this exercise can burn more than 20 calories. That does not sound much but multiply it by the times you see commercials and again you will be surprised with the numbers!
