Our weekends start on Friday evening. This is when we look forward to spending more time with our family and friends. We want to relax before the next working week begins. However, some of us notice that on Monday morning they are heavier than they were two days before.

The issue: You do not work out on weekends

There are plenty of gyms that close on weekends. This makes us believe that this is how it should be – no physical activity on Saturday and Sunday. That’s another bad habit you might have.

The solution: Even if your gym is closed on weekend, do not stop exercising. Any type of physical activity is great. The main point is to try to break the bad habit and start moving. So a few stretches, take a walk, go cycling or swimming. Work out on weekends and do not let others make you think that you deserve a rest. Actually, exercising is a form of rest and relaxation!
